We use a mixture of ultrahigh vacuum, electrochemical and near ambient pressure techniques in order to investigate the materials and processes of interest to our group. Some techniques we use on a daily basis are:
- X-ray and Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS/UPS)
- Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD)
- Reflection Absorption Infrared Spectroscopy (RAIRS)
- Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES)
- Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED)
- Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
